NIUE

Niue is just over a 3 hours flight from Auckland. The only way to get there is via Air New Zealand. Air New Zealand Flies 2 times a week to Niue, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

This is a great island for you to let your hair down and relax and enjoy many of the world's natural blessings.

When I visited in January, 2019, I was able to stay at really the best hotel the island has to offer, The Scenic Matavai Resort, the only property that really meets international standards of a resort. The great thing about this island is they use New Zealand Dollars (NZD), which makes it affordable.

There are a lot of natural water holes you can go to for swimming and snorkelling, bush walks, mini golf course and a few nice restaurants to visit and cafes!

Perfect place for a quiet honeymoon, family get away or even a single person who wants to get away and have some quiet time.

COOK ISLANDS - Rarotonga

With Just over 4 hour flight from Auckland, you will arrive into the magical islands of the Cook Islands. Rarotonga being the capital.

Cook Islands are very popular with the New Zealand market, not only do they use New Zealand dollar but the close ties we have between the two countries. There are more Cook Islanders living in New Zealand than in the Cook Islands!

During my recent trip to Rarotonga, I was able to visit a few hotels which was nice. Club Raro, great new wing has been built and available to receive guests. As with most hotel's in Rarotonga, a island style breakfast is included, however, Club Raro are now making hot food available in the price. For those who like a drink or two, they make great Pina Colada's and nice small pool area. Great thing about this property is that it is so very close to town.

Its a good 2.5-3 star property. For those people who prefer an adults only resort, you won't go wrong with the Muri Beach Resort. Beautiful rooms, lovely pool area where you can enjoy drinks and food. The Muri beach is only metres away! Awesome location. Other popular resorts, which are great for families, singles and couples are the Pacific Resort, The Rarotongan Resort.

There is so much to do in Rarotonga, lots of nature activities such as hiking, learning about the coconut tree, snorkelling, culture events etc. I had the pleasure to visiting the Te Vera Nui Village where we enjoyed an amazing island style buffet dinner and cultural show. It is located in the Muri Beach area. Well worth to go there in the evening. On a Saturday morning you have the markets, great place to pick up some local produce, clothes and souvenirs.

Currently, the Cook Island border is closed, this will be reopening around 14 January 2022. Please check the Cook Island Government website for latest information regarding their Covid Policies.  Currently, anyone entering the Cook Islands must be fully vaccinated, which means anyone under 12yrs is unable to travel to the Cook Islands, negative covid test must be produced, pre - register your arrival with the Cook Island Government minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival. (Note this is a brief summary, and there is more requirements, check the Cook Island Government Website for all details, we are not responsible for anyone not complying with immigration requirements)

I have recently returned from visiting a  few North American cities. The aim of the upcoming trip is to find special locations and people where we can look at holding some amazing wellness retreats and healing classes.

In 2026 -am looking at options for a 10 day retreat in Nova Scotia, Canada where you will have a chance to go back into yourself, learn Reiki, Yoga, Mediation and enjoy some one on one massage with a professional practitioner and teacher.

Another location where I will visit is a small town called Hayden, Idaho, where you can enjoy some spiritual wellness, juice fasts, learn about herbs and healing. Great location with tons of outdoor activities.
